Will be traveling w/12 people. 3 could use GAC. Does it make sense for all 3 to have their own card? Does it matter how people break-up each day or is it just GAC person plus 5 (not person specific)?

    Hello, Charles!

We just returned from a trip with 11 of us to Walt Disney World; two of those in our party needed Guest Assistance Cards for mobility issues.

I would recommend that you do get the GAC card for each person who needs it, simply because your party may, in fact, split up throughout the day. We never had to worry if we had the GAC card with us because one family kept one card and the other family kept the other card. The folks who needed the GAC card would always with be one family or the other, so we were covered. It worked out beautifully, too.

Plans can change, as well, so while you might have some folks go to one park, with plans to meet up later, that may change. It would be a shame for anyone in the group to have to miss an attraction simply because the one GAC card is with someone else. As long as you have the card with you, up to six Guests may enter together. (Keep in mind that not all Guests have physically obvious needs which necessitate a GAC, so showing the card will allow your party of up to six an alternate entrance to the attractions.) Thus, if you have three cards among the 12 of you, and are careful to always have them with you, you should have no problem navigating through the attraction queues.
