Hi again, Megan!
You are back with another great Disney Cruise Line question! We love chatting with returning Guests, and I consider it an honor to help you make your cruise plans.
Guess what? You can absolutely select staterooms that are close to each other on the ship. In fact, you might want them so close that they are connecting! The starting point would be the
Disney Cruise Line website. You can customize your search by entering the number in your travel party and how many staterooms you need. Sounds like you already know which ship and itinerary you want, so customize the query for September 2022. Then once you have the category of staterooms selected, you can go so far as to see where on the ship the available staterooms are located.
You could also check the
Deck Plans online to see in advance which staterooms are considered
connecting staterooms. The advantage to this is that you can leave the door open between the two rooms and access both sides during your cruise, staying more connected with your family and friends. That’s one way to create a suite-like feeling!
Generally speaking, the farther out you book your reservation, the better the chances of getting the staterooms you want. And FYI: the Disney Dream and the Disney Fantasy have more connecting staterooms available than the Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder.
Please come back to planDisney if you think of other questions. We love to talk about Disney cruising and are happy to share our tips to make your voyage absolutely WONDERful.
Happy Sailing!
