    Traveling with a party of 10. How can i book more lightning lanes if one person doesn't want to do the first ride of the day due to motion sickness. 9 of us will check in but 1 person will sit out but is still on the lightning lane reservation

    Hey Nicole, 

    Welcome back to planDisney! I see you’re in planning mode for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World. I love to see large family groups visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth. I also sometimes travel with a large family group, so I know that managing Lightning Lanes for everyone can sometimes feel like a bit of a part-time job! Luckily, Disney makes it super easy to manage your Lightning Lanes, so don’t fret about your pre-booked selection. 

    It sounds like you’ll be using Lightning Lane Multi Pass, which is Disney’s time-saving system that lets you skip the traditional standby queue for select attractions and experiences. Disney Resorts Collection Hotel guests can purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass 7 days prior to their arrival date and can pre-select up to 3 experiences per day. My family loves using Lightning Lane Multi Pass to save time in line during our visits. We use the time we save to have snacks, shop or enjoy other experiences. We also value the ability to have 3 pre-selected experiences in our back pocket when we enter a theme park. 

    Nicole, I know that you’re aware that guests must use their first pre-selection of the day in order to book additional Lightning Lanes. Having one guest in your party who doesn’t want to enjoy the first attraction due to motion sickness won’t stop the show! When you arrive in your first park, look for the Guest Experience Team – they can usually be found scattered throughout the theme parks under blue umbrellas labeled Guest Experience Team while wearing blue shirts.  If you don’t see them, ask a cast member where you can find the nearest Guest Experience umbrella when you enter the park. Cast members from that team will be able to help you remove the guest from that specific attraction so you can immediately book your next experience in your My Disney Experience mobile app after you’ve all scanned in for the first one (minus the one person who will absolutely be enjoying a fabulous snack while you guys ride).
