We are traveling with 2 other parties. We will be dining together most the time. We want to get the dining plan, but they do not. Is this OK? Will the waiters be able to split our tickets?

    Hi Erin,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

We often visit Walt Disney World Resort with other families. Because we rarely purchase a Disney Dining Plan, we’re often in a similar situation as the one you’ve described above: several parties dining together under the same dining reservation, but only some members of the party want to pay for their meal using their Disney Dining Plan entitlements.

Have no fear! Just make sure to tell the Cast Member who will check you in for your meal, as well as your waiter, that some people will be using the Disney Dining Plan and they’ll be sure to split the check up into as many parts as necessary in order to accommodate everyone’s needs.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
