    i am traveling with my parent who both has had a gastric bypass.only being able to hold a small amount of food at a time. can they get meals off the kids menus instead of a regular menu and where can i locate a kid menu to review before our feb 2014 cruise

    Hi Angela!

    Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel site with your question.  Everyone's a kid on the Disney Cruise and can order anything off of the regular menu or the kids menu.  Your parent is also welcome to order from the regular menu to have a taste of the specials... though I'm sure there will be left overs. I, myself, have had to order from the kids menu - since I really do love the chicken noodle soup.  If your parent would like to get a side order of mac & cheese or anything else on the menu, just let your wonderful dining crew know.  Once you explain to them that someone in your family has special dietary needs or special instructions during dining (like smaller portions, allergies, and other preferences), they will remember and suggest some items for you.  During your rotation around the different dining rooms, your Dining servers will follow you each night and they will be able to remember what your special instructions are. They'll even remember your drinks and how you like to be referred to.

    Menu items do change from time to time.  There are a few Disney Cruise Kids Menus floating around the internet, if you are curious about what has been offered in the past.  When you do a search, there is one that is bound to come up.  

    Your cruise is right around the corner and I'm sure your family is excited to be sailing the high seas on this magical voyage!
