    We are traveling from Pa and should arrive on November 8. If we arrive earlier than expected, can we check into Fort Wilderness earlier than 1pm?

    Hi Linda! Whether you are staying in the Fort Wilderness Campsites or Cabins you are sure to enjoy a great Walt Disney World vacation in November. The weather is turning cooler and the humidity is far less then the hot summer months.

    The official check-in time for Fort Wilderness is 1pm but many guests coming in with their recreational vehicles can't determine traffic and other conditions and arrive earlier. You will be allowed to do your check-in process just as you would in any other resort however your site might not be ready. There is a large overflow parking area for RV's who either arrive early or need to check out before they wish to depart on that day. They will direct you to that location when you do the check-in. Once the site or cabin is available you will receive the text message stating the number and you can then settle in. If you arrive and know you will have a few hours feel free to use the facilities or head to a park for lunch and some fun.
