    We’re traveling to Orlando next month. With Disney’s Genie service going online Tuesday, we’re curious if it’s possible to purchase a Lightning Lane Pass for one of the premium rides, such as Rise of the Resistance, without purchasing the Genie+ service.

    Whoo hoo! Your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just around the riverbend! Are you practically bursting with excitement and anticipation?! 

    I'm happy to let you know that Disney Genie+ and the Individual Lightning Lane selections are available separately. You are more than welcome to purchase Lightning Lane access to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance without paying for Disney Genie+. If you're staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you'll be able to purchase up to two Individual Lightning Lane attractions per day beginning at 7:00 AM Eastern time. If you're staying elsewhere, your purchase window will open when the park opens for the day. These convenient new services are provided for you to pick and choose what works best for you and your crew! Of course, Disney Genie is a powerful (and complimentary!) service that will be personalized just for you, so I'd encourage you to take advantage of that wonderful time-saving service! All of these services are available within the handy dandy My Disney Experience mobile app, so more than ever before, it really does feel like there's magic at your fingertips!
