I am traveling to the Orlando area (staying off site) and would like to visit the Boardwalk. How do I get to it without going through Epcot and using one of my park days? ( my own vehicle with disability tag and EVC.)

    Hi Cora! Welcome to planDisney!

In just THREE more days you will be traveling to my happy place! I hope you have plans to stop by Magic Kingdom Park to take in the festive fall decorations AND the gorgeous Walt Disney World Resort 50th anniversary celebration decorations that are up. It is such a beautiful sight to see!

Disney's BoardWalk is my favorite spot for a leisurely stroll. The views are breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset. In my opinion, the evening hours are the perfect time to visit whether you want to stop by a cart for a delicious drink or by BoardWalk Ice Cream for a scoop or two. Just talking about it makes me wish I was there now!

Parking is available at Disney's BoardWalk Inn for access to Disney's BoardWalk. I have been able to visit with no problem, but just know that protocols may restrict parking to only Guests staying at this Disney Resorts Collection hotel or to those with dining reservations in the area. You will check-in at the entrance of the parking lot with a Cast Member and you will need to let them know that you are just visiting Disney's BoardWalk. Hopefully, there will not be any restrictions when you visit and they will let you park as you explore the area!

I hope this helps, Cora! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
