Hello! I am traveling with my one year old son on december and he has some food allergies, so I will need a microwave at my room. We are staying at Polinesian. Can I request a microwave in my room?

    Hi Caroline,

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel. Unfortunately, most of the Disney's Resorts don't have a microwave in the rooms. Only at some specific resorts such as The family suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort include a kitchenette complete with mini-fridge, sink, microwave and coffee maker. There are also family suites at Disney All Star Music Resort that include the same kitchenette amenities. Another option, and I've stayed there last May and it was amazing, is The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. These include full kitchens, with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, sink, oven and even a dishwasher. They also have a grill outside on the deck. The cabins are great if you want to cook full meals for your family. If you prefer a standard hotel room, I have a couple of suggestions. There are microwaves available for Guest use at the food courts in the Resort hotels, although this would mean you'd have to leave your room to heat. If you plan on using the food court ones you better pay for a preferred room and this way you will have to walk less to the main building.

    Have a magical day!
