    We are traveling with a one year old, can there be a cot in the room? Staying in Animal Kingdom Lodge thanks

    Hi, there!

     Faye, you are going to love staying at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. It's one of my absolute favorite Resort hotels! In addition to being breathtakingly beautiful, there are so many fun, free, and educational programs available for families, like Animal Tracking. 

     Cots and rollaway beds are not available at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, but not to worry! Guests may request a complimentary crib for little ones. Most cribs offered are really standard-sized Pack 'n Play playards. A larger crib may be available for your 1-year old, but that is dependent upon availability. You can request a crib upon check-in at your Resort hotel, or you can make your request prior to arrival by calling 0800 16 90 730. 

     If you're concerned about the size of a Pack 'n Play for your 1-year old, consider renting a full-sized crib from a third party rental company. My fellow panelist, Brandy, has some great advice about additional crib options!

     Faye, did you know that each of Walt Disney World Resort's theme parks has a conveniently located Baby Care Center? Our daughter will be 11-months old when she makes her first visit this summer, and I anticipate many trips to the Baby Care Centers during our stay!
