Hi Jaimie,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us a question!
I remember my visits to Walt Disney World Resort when my son was itty bitty! I had so much fun seeing things through his eyes – it really was A Whole New World.
I’m happy to say that you don’t need to make a
Theme Park Reservation for your little one for your visit to
EPCOT before going to
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Because children under 3 are Mickey’s Special Guests and don’t require a
Theme Park Ticket or a
Special Event Ticket to visit the Parks, they don’t need a reservation, either!
My tip for visiting the Christmas Party with a wee one: if you already know that your daughter loves fireworks (my son still does!) or you’d like to try to enjoy the Party’s festivities for as long as possible during your visit, try to shift her nap time to a little bit later in the afternoon. I found that worked wonders for my son and it allowed him to stay up later than usual but still with a big smile on his face! I’d also highly recommend trying to snag a spot at
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert Party to be able to reserve a spot to watch the show, without needing to wait in the perfect spot for an hour before its scheduled start time.
I hope my answer helps you plan the perfect Disney Day for you and your little one! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. And don’t forget to check out the

Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
