Hey there, Rachel!
From one Floridian parent to another, welcome back to planDisney. There’s nothing more special than taking little ones to The Most Magical Place on Earth. When it’s just me and my two tiny Mouseketeers, I’ve learned how to navigate the parks in such a way that everyone enjoys themselves.
While there is a webpage that lists the attractions’
height requirements, there isn’t a set list for those that sit three people across. But you’ll be happy to hear that most rides do accommodate this need. The ones that would prove more difficult with two children and one adult are rollercoasters like Slinky Dog Dash, Barnstormer, and Expedition Everest.
Most three-plus-seater rides are more apparent, such as the boat rides like Pirates of the Caribbean and Na’vi River Journey. Popular rides like Kilimanjaro Safaris and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance seat 3 or more across, too. (The other Star Wars attractions either have individual seats in a pod or a longer row of seats, so you’re also good to go on those fronts.) Some of the more surprising rides that fit three in a row (about the size of an adult and two children) are Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, Haunted Mansion, Tomorrowland Speedway, and even Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom Park.
If you can find an adult buddy to go with you to the Disney Parks, then this opens up more opportunities for a kiddo who is tall enough to ride an attraction that the other can’t. The
Rider Switch Service really comes in handy in situations like that one. Also, once your older child is 7 years old, they will be able to sit in their own row while riding attractions like Slinky Dog Dash and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
Rachel, I’m sending pixie dust your way. I hope that you and your kiddos have an amazing vacation. If you have any other questions,
revisit us here at planDisney. See you real soon!
Magic always,
LeAndra
