Hello traveling in Oct. usually during free dining. Want to split vacay between POR & BW with only 2 day prk tix. How will that work with free dining? Will I b able to get free dining with both resorts? How do I book it? THanks :)

    Hi Malinda!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Generally speaking, in order to get Free Dining (or any Dining Package) you have to be on a package reservation, meaning a reservation for a room and park tickets.  You can do a split stay by having two separate reservations.  But to get a Disney Dining Plan for your second reservation, you would also have to purchase park tickets.  Since the first couple of days of a park ticket are more expensive than the last couple of days, depending on the length of the park ticket, this can be an expensive way to go.  Another option would be to get a park ticket as part of your first reservation that covers your entire stay.  So, for example, if you stay 4 nights at Port Orleans Riverside and then spend 4 nights at the Beach Club, you should get park tickets as part of your first reservation that cover all 8 nights.  However, that would mean only have the Disney Dining Plan during the first part of your vacation.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
