Traveling in Nov10-17th, 2015. Wondering how busy it is that time of year. We tried to plan this week between Jersey week and Thanksgiving. We have never done fastpass+ before and are also very nervous so any suggestions? We are going to MK, AK and Epcot.

    Hello, Kristen,

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you are off and running with a fall trip to Walt Disney World!  I checked with one of my favorite websites,, and looked at its Crowd Calendar and think you have picked a great week to visit to avoid big crowds. In addition to smaller crowds, you should be able to enjoy many of the holiday decorations during your trip!

Even with our regular trips to Walt Disney World, I, too, was overwhelmed when I began planning a trip and trying to decide the best attractions and times to make FastPass+ reservations. To help me with this, I went to the website I mentioned in the above paragraph.  There is a small fee, but there are a large selection of touring plans that help with this planning so it was a worthwhile investment for us.  I knew from the plans the best times to make my FastPass+ reservations and for which attractions.  I can also share that those times worked out very well for us; as a result, I plan on using the touring plans again for our next trip.

To help with your planning, you can begin making your dining reservations on 5/14/2015. If you are staying at a Disney resort, you will be able to make 10 days worth of reservations. You may find it helpful to have your dining reservations done before planning your FastPass+ Reservations on 9/11/2015 if you are staying at a Disney resort or 10/11/2015 if you aren't.

Happy planning and please let us know if we can help again.
