Hello Jennifer, You are in luck. Disney magic is definitely upon you as all of the rooms at Port Orleans French Quarter were recently renovated. All of the rooms now include double beds, granite counter tops in the baths, and new carpeting and bedding. I love POFQ. The Resort is smaller, making it easier to navigate. So no matter what building you are assign, you will be close to the Main Lobby, Serpent Pool, and bus stop. But my favorite building is Building 3. It is convenient to everything and close to the Sassagoula Float Works Restaurant. If you would like to head over to Port Orleans Riverside, it's a quick ten minute walk. Or you can take a short boat ride down river. Or you can take a Disney Bus to the Resort. There are many options to make it easy for your family! I hope this helps. Enjoy your trip!
