We are traveling on a 3 night cruise at the end of August (so cannot wait it is our FIRST Disney Cruise!!!!). Just wanted to know what to expect for dining. Can you tell me when the formal or dress-up night might be? Thanks. Cassandra C.

    Hi, Cassandra!

Congratulations on your first Disney cruise aboard the beautiful Disney Dream later this summer! You are going to think you're living a dream when you sail!

The great thing about a Disney cruise is that the same ship and itinerary can be different each time you sail, and the Entertainment Team changes things up frequently. However, the last time I sailed on the Disney Dream in April, our optional dress-up night was the last evening of our three-day cruise. You'll see everything from simple sundresses and dress shirts and slacks to those guests who go all out and wear evening gowns and tuxedos. Most opt for something in between.

Remember...for a three-night cruise to the Bahamas, you're going to require less.  So, try not to overpack. You can repeat outfits at dinner, and you'll mostly stay in your swimsuit during the day. You'll be happy not to have to spend time unpacking on the first day and packing up your last evening.  It all goes by way too fast!

I hope that helps you plan. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
