We will be traveling next year with my grand daughter. She will be 16 months old then. What rides at Magic Kingdom are okay for ones little to ride? Thank you :)

    Hi Elizabeth,

I'm so excited to know that you're already planning on taking your little princess to Walt Disney World!  I took my daughter to Disney for the first time when she was 18 months old.  She LOVED it!  In fact, it was so stimulating for her that she literally came home with a whole new vocabulary!  You're going to have such a good time with that lucky little girl:)

The theme parks are all great for young children, but Magic Kingdom is the best!  Please look at the Attractions page on Disney's website.  The ones that say Guests "of any height" are the ones that will be perfect for her.  I also suggest that you look at Disney's Planning for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones page.  It's a wonderful tool to help plan a kid friendly vacation.

By the way, each park has a Baby Care Center.  You can take a break from the crowds, and have some quiet feeding and changing times.  There are also baby supplies that are available for purchase should you find yourself in need of something for the baby.  They carry disposable diapers, a few different brands of baby foods and formulas as well as some over the counter medications.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.  Wishing you a beautiful, memorable and magical vacation with your girl!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
