Hi, We are traveling next week to WDW with a 1 year old and 4 year old. I had heard that Fantasmic might be too scary for the kids. Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you.

    Hi Delaney!

I also have a 1 and 4 year old! I'm so excited to be taking them to Disney this fall!! But I'm pretty sure we're not going to do Fantasmic. And it makes me SO sad because it is my favorite show at the parks! (Well, I might say this about a lot of shows. But I do LOVE it!)

Fantasmic is an amazing show with tons of characters, fireworks, water works and clips from the movies. It is breathtaking. But there is a big big part with the villains--lots of clips from the movies, lots of costume characters AND the worst part is the HUGE Maleficent as a dragon. Huge as in 2 stories high.

I mean, you know your kids best, buy my 4 year old would freak out. If you do decide to go, I'd sit near the back so everything doesn't look as big and I'd bring earplugs for the fireworks. It is an amazing show and you will LOVE it. It just depends if you think your kids can close their eyes when they get scared!

    Enjoy your vacation!
