Hi Suzanne,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. Your trip is right around the corner – you must be beyond excited!
The answer to your question depends on the type of ticket you’ve purchased. If you purchased a 3-day Magic Your Way base ticket, that ticket will give you the option of visiting one park per day for three days, and the parks included in this ticket are Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. A 3-day Magic Your Way ticket with Park Hopper option will give you three days of park access, but with this ticket you’ll be able to “park hop” between the four theme parks listed above; for example, you could begin your day at Magic Kingdom Park and then hop over to Epcot for the afternoon and evening. These two ticket options do not include access to Disney’s Blizzard Beach or Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Parks.
If you would like access to the water parks, you have two options. One is to purchase the Park Hopper Plus ticket. On a 3-day ticket, this would allow you 3 entries to the “plus” locations, which include the two water parks. My fellow panelist Lindsey M does a really great job
explaining how that works. Your other option is to purchase
Water Park Tickets separately.
Suzanne, I’m also happy to report that the water in both theme parks is heated to approximately 80 degrees Fahrenheit – but watch out for chilly water from the melting snow in
Cross Country Creek at Disney’s Blizzard Beach!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
