Hi! We are traveling next May, and have someone with a gluten/dairy free diet. Would WDW accommodate this for the after hours Epcot party or the MK fireworks dessert party? Since those were fixed menus, wasn't sure! Thanks!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Beth ~

We are so glad you are hEAR!

I was actually faced with a similar situation just last month when we attended the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party (TTFDP) again in the Magic Kingdom. My son must have his food pureed. I knew that by completing a special dietary request, most table service locations are able to accommodate this request. However, I wasn't sure about the TTFDP. After completing the request, I was thrilled when we arrived and the Cast Members had it noted and took most excellent care of meeting my son's needs.

Here is what you will need to do. Send an email about 2 weeks prior to your trip to the Walt Disney World Special Diets Team at specialdiets@disneyworld.com. You should get a reply from one of their Team Members including a Guest Allergy Dietary Request Form. Once you have completed the form, you can return it by email to specialdiets@disneyworld.com or fax it to 407-560-2992. You will need to list each of the restaurant names, reservation number(s), and the dates when you plan to dine. The Special Diets Team can then alert the various restaurant Chefs and Managers of your upcoming visit.

When you arrive at each venue to check in, be sure to mention to the Host that you have sent in a special dietary request. They will do their very best to accommodate you.

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. It is indeed our pleasure to assist you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
