I am traveling with my 9 months old in october 2009, would it be cheaper to bring my own baby food and juice or wait and purchase at the WDW resort?

    Hello Kathryn!

I would suggest bringing your own supply of baby food. While there is baby food available for purchase at WDW, the selection isn't always the best and it can be expensive. If your baby has particular tastes or you use a certain brand of baby food then I think it's better for you to bring your own that way you're guaranteed to have what you need. If you run out of food while on vacation or need a quick jar while in one of the parks, you can find a small selection of food at the baby care centers in each park and at the resort gift shops.

With a nine month old, you will want to know where the baby care centers are located in each park. They offer soft, clean changing tables for diaper changes, a small kitchen area for heating food and a private room with dim lighting for nursing mothers and rocking babies.

    Baby Care Center locations are:
Magic Kingdom - Next to the Crystal Palace restaurant
Epcot - On the bridge leading from Future World into the World Showcase on the side closest to Mexico.
Hollywood Studios - At guest services right inside the park entrance.
Animal Kingdom - In Discovery Island behind the Creature Comforts shop.
If you don't have the room in your suitcase to pack your baby supplies, you could always ship a box to your resort a few days prior to your arrival. The front desk will hold the box for you until you get there. When I ship packages to myself ahead of time I usually use a carrier like UPS or FEDEX so that I can check the tracking information. You would address the box to yourself including your arrival date and reservation number to your resort's address.

I hope this helps! Enjoy your vacation with your little one!
