My DH and I are traveling with a 10 month old & 3 year old - they go to bed at 8:00am. Which hotels have a separate living area from bedroom? We are looking for the most affordable, best with kids, with a sit-down restaurant on site. We're on a budg

    Hi Erin!

Based on what you say you are looking for, I recommend that you consider staying at the Doubletree Guest Suites in Downtown Disney.  It's on Walt Disney World, but is not a Disney hotel; it's an independent hotel.  If you stay there you will not have access to Extra Magic Hours and you will have to use a special bus providing transportation between the independent Downtown Disney hotels and the theme parks instead of the normal Disney buses.  But each room in the Doubletree has a separate living area from the bedroom, and there is a very nice Table Service (full service) restaurant on site.  Furthermore, I have always found it to be very affordable.  In fact, you can usually find a discount code for it at the independent website MouseSavers.com.  My family and I have stayed there many times and have always enjoyed it.
