Hi, there!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Michelle. I'm so glad you stopped by!
You're going to have the best time during your visit. There's little better than watching your
little ones experience the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort! We'll be visiting this summer with our 8-year old, 6-year old, and 10-month old, and I just. can't. wait. We've been using a double stroller at the Walt Disney World Resort for years now, and I'm happy to share my experience with you!
Even though my bigger kids have long outgrown using a stroller at home, we'll still be taking our double stroller for our summer visit; their little legs will need a break throughout the day! We take our own stroller with us because we've found it to be very useful through the airport. If you don't plan on taking your own, I think keeping the baby in the infant carrier through the airport is a great idea! I very highly recommend renting a City Mini Double Stroller during your stay. We bought ours shortly after our second baby was born, and to this day, it's the single best baby/kid purchase we've ever made! You'll find these strollers parked all over the Walt Disney World Resort and it's because they're perfect for a day in the theme parks. The shades are extra-long, keeping your kiddos well-shaded from the Florida sun. There's plenty of storage space underneath, and the seats recline completely (perfect for a nap!). The City Mini Double Stroller also folds super easily. You can rent one of these strollers from a Disney Featured Provider like Magic Strollers, Orlando Stroller Rentals, or Kingdom Strollers. For reference, I began putting my babies in the City Mini Double Stroller when they were about 3-months old.
I love chatting about little ones and the Walt Disney World Resort, so please let me know if you have any other questions!
