Hello. We will be traveling with a 6 month old, are the pool floats allowed in the BLT pool? There's ones with or without canopys. Thank you for your help!

    Hi Sarah!

Enjoying the pools at the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels is one of my favorite ways to relax during a vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort!  Of course, while you are enjoying the sun and the water, you want to make sure your little one is comfortable and safe!

Generally, personal flotation devices that are attached to the swimmer are allowed in the Walt Disney World Resort Hotel pools as long as they do not obstruct the lifeguards' views of the pool or the water below.  Also, all U.S. Coast Guard Type II or type III personal flotation devices are allowed.

If you are unsure if your pool float is acceptable or not, just ask any Cast Member or lifeguard, and they will be happy to assist you!  If you decide that you do not want to bring your own flotation device, lifejackets are available upon request at all of the resort pools.  I hope you have a wonderful time relaxing at the Bay Cove Pool during your visit to the Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!

Hi y’all!  I am an Army wife, a college instructor, a dog-mom, and a lover of all things Disney!  Planning a Disney vacation is my favorite pastime—other than actually going on a Disney vacation, of course—and I love helping others make the most of their magical trip!  If I am not at the Walt Disney World Resort, I am putting the pixie-dusted touches on my next trip!
