I am traveling with my 6 month old (8 months time of travel) for the first time. We have always used Disney transportation. How does this work with an infant? Does she sit on my lap and how safe is this?? We are so excited about bringing her!!

Hi, Susan!!  How exciting!!  Basically, your daughter will sit on your lap.  What I always packed was a baby front carrier, not a backpack, because they were so bulky, but a Snugli front carrier. When we would leave our room, we would put her in the carrier and off we would go to the bus stop.  When we loaded the bus if all the seats were full and it was standing room only,  I would ask the bus driver if he could help me find a seat. It was difficult to hold a baby and hold on while the bus is moving. He or she could help me get a seat.  I felt better when they were in a Snugli. Then as we traveled into the park, we would head to the stroller rental, take off the Snugli and store it in the stroller until it was needed again.  Have a great time!!!
