I will be traveling with a 7yo and 10 month old in a few weeks. I plan to bring our stroller. Can we bring it on the shuttle buses to/from the hotel? Will the shuttles drop us off directly at the entrance gate? Would it be better to use a cab?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Christina ~

Your trip is just around the corner! Are you too excited to sleep yet?

Strollers are allowed on Disney Buses but you will need to fold them prior to boarding. We always have ours folded and ready to go so that loading is quicker.

Disney buses will drop you off near the gates of each of the theme parks, water parks and Downtown Disney. It is a short walk to the entrance of each park.

We have found the bus system easy to use. Just make sure you factor in the wait time for a bus at your resort if you have a reservation where you need to be some place at a certain time.

If you are cutting it close on time, you could take a taxi. They can get you near the front entrances of parks except for the Magic Kingdom where they drop you off at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC). From TTC, you'll have the option of taking the Monorail or Ferry Boat over to the Magic Kingdom. You will not have to fold your stroller on either of these options and both usually take about the same amount of time. We typically take the Express Monorail over to the Magic Kingdom because the boys get a kick out of going through the Contemporary Resort and the Ferry Boat on the way back because we enjoy the lights from the Seven Seas Lagoon. I have heard that some Guests ask taxis to drop them off at the Contemporary Resort to avoid the trip from TTC if they are going to the Magic Kingdom. Keep in mind that it is about a 10 - 15 minute walk from there to the Magic Kingdom gates.

Please feel free to visit us with all of your questions. We'll be here for you up until you embark on your pixie dusted trail!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
