    We will be traveling with our 7 month old and extended family. We scheduled group dinners each day. While most dinners are early enough that we should be okay, a few will be cutting it close to bed time. I'm concerned about this and naps. Advice?

    Our boys have early bedtimes because they CRaCk! when the clock strikes a certain hour (and it's not as graceful as Cinderella and her shoe incident.)

    That being said, they do remarkably well adapting to slightly different hours on vacation, especially at Walt Disney World. 

    The key is getting a good nap in to help stretch the day. You can fit the nap in by starting your days early. Doing so will get you a couple hours in the park before needing to head back for the nap. If your baby can sleep in a carseat, consider getting him/her to sleep in it before dinner. Then, bring the carrier into the restaurant and set it off to the side while you enjoy your time with the extended family.

    Lastly, if nothing above sounds feasible, let your family know your concerns with the timing of things. If someone says, "oh, you'll be fine," then they're the first person you pass your kid to when your baby is fussy during dinner.
