Hi! I will be traveling with a 7 month old to Disney World this coming February. I'm a little worried that I'll either way over pack or way under pack for him! Is there a good rule of thumb as to how much stuff I should bring? (diapers, food, clothes etc)

Howdy Kayla!! If you asked my hubby, he would say I'm the last person that needs to answer this question because I am the queen of over packing. I'm getting better though and I have learned a great deal over the past few years.

As you get closer to your travel date, look at a few "typical" days and track everything. How many diapers did you need, how much food, how many times did you change your baby's clothes? Look at this and then add 1-2 of everything essential per day.

Be sure to add any age appropriate and doctor recommended medicine that you might need. Hopefully you won't need any of it but it's better to be safe than sorry.

Be sure to visit the Baby Care Centers when you are at the 4 theme parks. They are wonderful areas that are free of charge to use. Great locations to feed or change your baby. They also have a small area where you will find a variety of items available for purchase: food, medicine, diapers, swim diapers and more.

Be sure to pack a small blanket or towel to cover your stroller when you are inside an attraction. The strollers get hot in the sun and the towel or blanket will protect sensitive skin.

Sunglasses are another must have though my two little ones never kept theirs on.

Sunscreen is another must have item. If your baby has sensitive skin, be sure you know what sunscreen will work for him.

When my kiddos were younger, we pre-packed their clothes in plastic quart size bags; one outfit per bag. Each day, we placed a bag of clothes for each child in our backpack. If either of our children needed to change their clothes, we would grab a bag, change them and then place the dirty clothes in the quart size bag.

I hope this will help you in your planning. Please let me know if you need any further information. So excited for you! Walt Disney World Resort with a 7 month old...MAGICAL!!
