Hi Kim,
Welcome to the Moms Panel! Having traveled to Walt Disney World with infants, I certainly understand the challenges.
Let me first point out that the strollers available are a hard molded plastic, and not very infant friendly. If you visit a website such as
www.wdwinfo.com and do a quick search for strollers you will see the specific strollers that Disney offers. If it is not possible to bring your own stroller, I would consider looking into renting an infant friendly one from a company such as
A Baby's Best Friend. They will deliver directly to your resort, and have fantastic customer service!
Dining with a child this young could be a challenge. I suggest bringing some sort of baby wearing carrier such as a sling or a baby bjorn. You could also inform the restaurant that you have an infant, and will need to use your stroller while dining, they should be able to accommodate you in this situation. Every restaurant will have high-chairs available, so if you child can confidently hold up their head, you may be able to use a jacket or sweatshirt to give them a little extra support while they are buckled in the seat. Of course you know your child and will be best able to judge if they are ready for a high chair.
Hope this helps!
