We are traveling mid Feb with 5 children and enjoy sit down eating . Where do you recommend for a buffet breakfast? We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge.

    Hi Joanne,

"Mom" always said to start your day with a good breakfast, so what better place to ask for advice on just such a meal, but the "Moms Panel"!

My family loves breakfast too.  Since you are staying at the Wilderness Lodge, here are some great choices for a breakfast buffet that is convenient from your resort:

    - Chef Mickey's Character Breakfast at the Contemporary (just jump on the boat launch from the Wilderness Lodge directly to the Contemporary.)  It's a great way to start your day if you are heading to either the Magic Kingdom or Epcot, as the monorail is right at the Contemporary.
    - Crystal Palace has a great character breakfast with Winnie the Pooh and Friends at the Magic Kingdom.  (To get there, just take the Magic Kingdom boat directly from your resort)

If you are going to the Animal Kingdom, Tusker House has a fun buffet with Donald and friends.  Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge is another excellent buffet (no characters here, but tons of amazing food!)  Finally, Cape May Buffet at the Beach Club features Minnie and friends all decked out in beach ware.  If you are going to Epcot, this is a wonderful place to dine, as you can simply walk to the park when you are done eating.

    Have a great time!
