Hiya Christie!
Welcome aboard, it's great to have you sailing with us! I've had my eye on that European itinerary you mentioned, I hope it is as fabulous as it looks!
Disney Cruise Line does have policies around food and beverages being brought onboard. You'll need to make sure that any snacks or drinks are nonperishable and still sealed in factory packaging. You won't be able to take opened food items off with you on debarkation day, so make sure you finish your snacks or leave them unopened.
Alcohol has its own set of restrictions that state Disney Cruise Line Guests who are at least 21 years old can bring a maximum of two bottles of unopened wine or sparkling wine (no larger than 750 ml) or 6 beers (no more than 12 ounces each) on board at the start of your cruise and at each port you visit.
I love to find fun new snacks (and chocolate...and pasta...and olive oil...you can't leave Italy without some essentials) as we visit ports, but I don't usually bring too much back with me because there is SO MUCH great food on the ship! It looks like you'll be sailing onboard the Disney Fantasy, which has one of my favorite dining experiences ever:
brunch at Palo! Just for adults, this brunch is completely delightful...and it fills up fast! Try to grab a reservation as soon as your booking window opens, but if you don't get one then I would visit the Palo dining team as soon as you board the ship to see if some space is available. Pro cruising tip: if there's a soufflé on the menu, order it.
I'm wishing for your cruise to be smooth sailing and full of stunning places to explore, Christie! Have a wonderful time and eat an extra piece of chocolate for me!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
