Hi Michele! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! There are a few different allowances for children under three-years-old, which can get confusing. My son turned three in July, and we enjoyed many Walt Disney World Resort vacations during his non-ticketed years. I'm so glad that you came to us with your question, but I'm even happier to share what I've lEARned with you from our visits to The Most Magical Place on Earth: ~ Mouseketeers under the age of three do not need a theme park or water park admission ticket. ~ As long as the non-ticketed child meets the height requirement of an attraction, the child may enjoy any ride for which you and/or your party have a FastPass+ reservation. They'll simply enter the queue with those who do have a FastPass+, and will be welcomed aboard. ~ If you're staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, children under three will get a MagicBand. Since her band won't be linked to a ticket or FastPass+ reservations, your granddaughter won't need her band at all. (I love that the littlest of kiddos get to match the rest of the group!) ~ Children under three are not required to purchase a Disney Dining Plan with the rest of their party. Instead, they are welcome to share food with others in your group, or you may purchase an individual meal or side item just for them. They will, however, be allowed to have their own plate at a buffet. ~ These Princesses and Princes do need to be included in the head count of any Dining Reservations you make, for local fire code reasons. I hope this helped, Michele, and We'll See You in 2019! ~Kristen
