We are traveling March 24-31 with my husband, kids (4,8,9) and my Mom and are staying at Music value resort. Should we have a planned route for each park that we visit to make sure that we don't miss anything? This is our first trip. Thank-you!

    Hi Alecia,

How exciting that your first trip is right around the corner!  I do recommend having at least an outline of which parks you intend to visit on each day of your trip, particularly for a first visit.  I would also include a list of what attractions you absolutely want to experience.  This way, you can ensure that everyone in your family gets to see and experience their "must do's."  In addition, I recommend making dining reservations based on which parks you intend to visit on a given day so that you don't spend too much time travelling to make your reservations.  If you plan on being in the Magic Kingdom (my top choice for a first park on a first trip, by the way!), I would recommend making dining reservations either in that park or in a resort located on the monorail line so that you can easily and quickly make your allotted time slot.

I certainly don't think you need to plan every moment of your vacation, however, I do suggest an itinerary with parks and dining reservations for each day.

    Have a wonderful time!
