Hi Dawn! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
What an exciting time to be planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Traveling with young children can really be such a fun time. I love that the innocence is still there and it only takes a little pixie dust for the kids to really have a magical and memorable time.
The
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is a place where girls and boys are transformed into the Princess or Knight of their dreams. The Fairy Godmother-in-training are what makes this experience in my opinion. They do such an amazing job at making the kids feel so special and so royal! While five years old is a great age to experience this, unfortunately your son will not be old enough. In order to participate in this experience children must be between three years of age and 12 years of age and also accompanied by an adult. It has been my experience that they are very strict on this policy so I would not recommend trying to book this experience for your son.
If you have another adult traveling with you I would suggest that they take your son for some special one on one time. Maybe they could grab a special snack, soar on Dumbo the Flying Elephant, or even just hang out at the resort hotel pool. If your daughter is getting her Princess make over in Magic Kingdom Park, there are so many wonderful attractions that are just perfect for your son! My favorite place to play with my two year old is at the
Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station. I usually find that I am trying to drag my kids out of this area because they love it that much! Make sure you bring a towel and a change of clothes.
I hope that you have a wonderful family vacation!
