Hi there! I am traveling to magic kingdom with my 9 month old. I was wondering- is there any sort of place where I can put her down that’s safe, clean and let her stretch/crawl/play? She will be spending a lot of time in the stroller. Thank you!

    Hi, there!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Linnea. We're glad you stopped by with this great question!

I'm so excited to hear you'll be visiting Magic Kingdom Park with your little princess in tow. Magic Kingdom Park is home to lots of family-friendly attractions that are perfect for Guests of all ages, so it's my most favorite theme park for little ones. Your heart is sure to melt as you watch your baby be immersed in the magic of Disney storytelling!

Two of my kids made their first visits to Magic Kingdom Park when they were less than a year old. They were old enough to enjoy our pixie-dusted adventures, but not old enough to walk so they spent most of their time in my arms or in the stroller. I totally understand your concern! I needed my babies to get some physical energy out and luckily, Magic Kingdom Park has some perfect spots where they were able to move and groove.

Dumbo the Flying Elephant is a classic, can't-miss Fantasyland attraction. What I love the most about Dumbo the Flying Elephant is that the queue is an indoor playground where Guests can play while they wait to ride! The center of the playground is perfect for itty bitty Guests who are crawling, cruising, or toddling. My babies could have spent all day pulling themselves up to the activity boards and crawling up the small slide!

Another great spot to stretch out is the Plaza Gardens at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. These beautifully manicured lawns are perfect for crawlers! My family loves to grab hot dogs, french fries, and lemonade from Casey's Corner before picnicking on the Plaza Gardens while we wait for Magic Kingdom Park's nighttime spectacular, Happily Ever After. It's a great space to get the wiggles out!

Be sure to stop by the Baby Care Center during your visit. This little hideaway features a changing room, private nursing room, kitchen, and on-site shop with baby care essentials for purchase. There's also a living-room area with enough space for your little one to play!

I hope this was helpful, Linnea. Please let me know if you have any other questions about traveling to Magic Kingdom Park with your sweet girl!
