Hi! We're traveling in less than 2 weeks. My family of 4 would like to link a credit card to our magic bands and do almost all of our spending that way. Are there fees associated with using our magic band to pay for everything during our trip? Thanks!!

    Hi Jennifer,

My family loves the convenience of using our MagicBands to pay for everything during our Walt Disney World vacations, from a Mickey bar or a box of popcorn at a kiosk to souvenirs to a meal in a signature dining restaurant. It's so easy to have all the costs go onto a single bill at the end of your stay. Our daughters are older and often go off on their own for parts of the day, and I don't have to worry about making sure they have enough money for drinks and snacks.

There's no additional fee to use the MagicBand charging privilege.

I do recommend having a small amount of cash on hand. I usually have $10 or $20 with me, just in case I need it, but I seldom do.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jennifer. Please let us know if you have any other last-minute questions. Enjoy your Walt Disney World vacation with your family!
