Hello, we are traveling in late Sept/early Oct. I heard it is still pretty hot. What about at night? Should I pack a light jacket, etc or stick to summer clothes? Also, does it typically rain alot this time of year. Thanks again!!

Our family makes an annual pilgrimage to Disney in late September/early October and we find it to be an ideal time to visit for many reasons, weather included.  I'm no meteorologist, but I can speak to the weather during that time frame in recent years.  We've been very fortunate to enjoy very warm days and semi-cool evenings.  And while occasional downpours are not out of the ordinary, the good news is that they don't typically last very long.  I've also visited in early September and we were subject to much more rain then, but it seems to taper off towards the end of the month.

Do consider attending Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party during your visit.  It's a blast!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
