We will be traveling late Sept. with Nana who is in a wheelchair. Epcot and AK are so spread out, I am afraid we will tire of pushing her & should rent an ECV. Will the rental area at the parks store her chair for us? How is availability of EVC in S

    Hi Cynthia!

Thank for sending your questions to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! This is a great question and I am so glad that you are planning ahead of time! An ECV would probably be the best option for your Nana. ECV availability in the parks can be tricky. Since you probably don't want any surprises, I would recommend that you rent one in advance from one of the Disney approved providers. What is nice about this option is that if you are staying in a Disney Resort, the company will drop off the ECV and pick it up after you depart. All of the Disney provided transportation accommodate these ECVs. This way you could potentially leave her wheelchair in the resort room.  For more information, please visit this page: ECV Rentals.

It has been a pleasure assisting you! If I can help you with any other planning questions, please feel free to send them my way!

    Happy Planning!
