Hi, We will be traveling in late June to WDW for the first time. I have four different food allergies (gluten, egg, soy, corn) and my daughter has a tree nut allergy. Which table service restaurant in the parks is the most adept at accommodating us?

    Hi Amy!

I'm so happy to help you get ready for your trip because I know how tough it can be to plan for meals when accommodating food allergies. My son has multiple food allergies as well and in our experience, the Chefs have always done a great job making sure my son has fantastic meals with the rest of our family!

Did you know there is an entire team dedicated to helping Guests plan their vacations when accommodating a food allergy? Since you are accommodating several allergies for yourself and your daughter I recommend that you contact the Special Diets Team directly by emailing them at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com so they can help you get information about how you can best accommodate your specific combination of allergies during your trip.

In general, you will find that the Chefs at table service restaurants are well-trained and adept at accommodating food allergies. You definitely want to add your allergies to your dining reservations online or by calling (407) 939-1947. Also, be sure to remind the restaurant about your allergies when you arrive. Some of our best meals while accommodating my son's food allergies have been at Be Our Guest Restaurant and Biergarten Restaurant and while not in the parks, we have also had fantastic experiences at Chef Mickey's and Cape May Cafe!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
