Hi, I am traveling with my kids-9 & 7 and my parents. First visit to Disney. My son turns 7 while we will be there in June 2012. We are a party of 6. Suggestions about celebrating his birthday while there and also having fun with my parents (60s &

Hi there Rajeswari! An inaugural trip to Disney is truly a momentous occasion! Be sure to stop by any Guest Services location inside the theme parks to pick up free "1st Visit" recognition buttons for your family and a "Happy Birthday" button for your little guy!

I'm the planner in my family too and so, I can totally relate to your desire to find vacation activities that meet the needs of everyone in your group. One of the best parts about a trip to Walt Disney World is there are so many experiences and attractions that can be enjoyed together as a family, no matter the ages in your travel party.

I would highly recommend the Pirate and Pals Fireworks Voyage as a great way to celebrate your son's 7th birthday! He'll receive special acknowledgement during the sailing and the grandparents will have an incredible view of Wishes Nighttime Spectacular from the waters of Seven Seas Lagoon without having to stand for a prolonged period of time inside Magic Kingdom Park. There are also plenty of help-yourself goodies and interaction with the characters from Neverland. Due to popularity, be sure to call for advanced reservations at 407-WDW-PLAY. You'll even find a video of this exciting excursion on the Walt Disney World Moms Panel website!

Feel free to send more questions our way in the days leading up to your June trip!
