i am traveling with 3 kids and my husband. All packages include 2 kids. How to look for vacation for all 5 not 4.So confused.

Hi, Aquila!   Vacations to Walt Disney World can be planned for any number of guests!   When advertising a special offer, they often list a family of 4 just to give you an idea of what the average family vacation will cost.

When booking online, the first things it will ask are your travel dates and the number of guests in your party and kids' ages.    From that point on, your pricing will be based on your family of 5.

The only difficult part might be that some resorts' rooms (Value Resorts and most Moderate Resorts) can only accommodate a family of 4 (plus one child in a pack and play under age 3.)    If your kids are all over the age of 3 your choices are:

    -Booking 2 rooms
    -A Family Suite at Disney's All-Star Music
-Rooms in the Alligator Bayou section of Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter (Moderate Resort - has a trundle bed that works for a small child.)
    -Fort Wilderness Cabins (Moderate)
-Deluxe Resorts that have space for that 5th family member (usually a daybed.)

If you have any problems booking for your family, simply book by phone by calling a Disney Reservationist at (407)W-DISNEY.  They will be happy to help you plan the perfect vacation for you and your wonderful family!  Good luck!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
