We are traveling with 2 kids aged 3 and 5 and looking at the Bay Lake villas and the wilderness lodge villas. We all prefer the rooms based on pics at the bay lake but the kids stuff at wilderness looks amazing. Can you help me gain clarity?

    Hi Jacque,

You will not go wrong staying at either the Villas at Wilderness Lodge or Bay Lake Towers.  The advantages of staying at Bay Lake Tower villas is that they are definitely more spacious sleeping five very comfortably. The location is right on the Monorail which will take you to Magic Kingdom and Epcot (after a transfer at the Ticket and Transportation Center.)  The pool is wonderful.  Some of the villas will allow you to view the Magic Kingdom fireworks from your balcony which is fantastic if you children need to go to sleep at night before you are ready to!  My family recently stayed at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge and loved it!  You will feel like you are at Yellowstone National Park complete with geysers and woods all around. The pool is great as well. You can take the boat to Magic Kingdom and are right next to the Fort Wilderness Campground.  There is also a fun pool and play area at the Campground, and Chip and Dale's Sing-a-Long in the evening where you can roast marshmallows and meet Chip and Dale.  Really, both areas are fantastic in their own way.  I would just decide whatever you would like the best and is most convenient.  A short boat ride separates Bay Lake Towers from Wilderness Lodge so you can explore this area as well.  Whatever you decide, Jacque, I know your vacation will be magical!
