Hi Kristin!
I think the important thing is to look at your budget. While the monorail resorts (Polynesian, Contemporary, Grand Floridian) will offer you the best (and easiest) access, they aren't always in everyone's price range. Disney's Moderate Resorts offer easy bus transportation, but are a little further away from the action, but will cost you much less.
The first thing you need to do is come up with a budget and the amount of nights you are hoping to spend. Then, surf around and check out some of the wonderful
resorts Walt Disney World has to offer. You can even price out offers online and compare and save them to look at in the future. Just make sure you are logged into your
www.disneyworld.com account when you do so.
We are BIG park hoppers, but that is our style! You can save quite a bit of money if you chose not to have the option, and honestly the more you limit your park hopping, the more time you'll have. I'd say if it was your first vacation, you could easily skip out on the park hopper and put that money toward something else.
Have a magical vacation!
Amanda
