Hi, Bethany!
Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad that you asked this great question!
Many guests prefer
stroller rentals in
Walt Disney World Resort, but I liked to bring my own compact stroller when our kids were little. With legs as little as your 1 1/2-year-old's, walking from a bus stop to a park entrance will be difficult. As such, you'd likely end up carrying your little princess that distance, which is not an easy task when you also have a diaper bag and other belongings on your shoulders.
Moreover, Walt Disney World buses are great for easing little ones to sleep as they travel back to their resort hotel from a fun-filled day in the parks. When your bus gets to your stop at your WDW resort hotel, you'll likely have a sound-asleep little one on your lap; a compact stroller will be a great way to whisk her from her slumber on the bus to her slumber back in your room.
There will be many others on WDW Resort buses with personal strollers, Bethany. Be sure to fold it up and have everything ready to go once you get to the stop; this will make your entrance onto the bus much smoother.
While touring the four theme parks, be sure to utilize the
Baby Care Centers, too. Conveniently located in each theme park, these centers single-handedly made me fall in love with Walt Disney on my first visit, as I had a 3-year-old and 5-month-old in tow.
Finally, check out this great source of tips for
planning a trip to Walt Disney World with little ones; it's so helpful!
Send more questions as you plan, Bethany; we love to help!
