Traveling in July 15 thru July 21 2013 for my daughters 8th bday staying at AOA  daughter son 2yrs and my husband doing BBB Cinderalla Royal Table and Chef Mickeys anything I should know about weather? Crowds? Pricing? Shops? Anything helpful?? Thanks

    Hi Shenell!

Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation! A birthday is a perfect time to visit and you have made an excellent choice on accommodations! I have vacationed at Walt Disney World in July, and I have to say that it was bearable, what we expected and we had a blast. The crowds are slightly bigger because that is the month that all students are out of school, so summer is in full swing. July is a hot month with temperatures averaging with highs of 91 degree and lows of 74 degrees. Aside from the resorts, the prices are the same and do not vary much from season to season. An example of a typical July day for my family consisted of visiting the parks at "rope drop", stay a few hours, then go back to the resort for rest and lunch. In the evening, we tend to head back to the parks because the temperatures are lower. My suggestion would be to avoid the parks that are scheduled for Extra Magic Hours, because they tend to be the most crowded. With planning, you will be able to maneuver the crowds and the heat with ease. Also, remember to stay hydrated.

I hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
