Hi Gladys,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us a question. I’m pretty excited for the
Silver Anniversary at Sea itineraries out of Miami this summer. Those itineraries strike me as the perfect blend of
Disney Magic and fun in the sun!
From what I understand, for round trip (or “closed loop”) cruises departing and returning to the United States, an original or copy of your state-issued birth certificate AND a physical Government-issued photo ID should be enough in the way of
Citizenship Documentation for your voyage. That said, your birth certificate can’t be a hospital-issued one and the photo ID can’t be a digital or mobile one, even if it’s issued by your state.
This means that you should be good to cruise with your notarized copy of your birth certificate, provided you bring photo ID with you. If you have any additional questions, I’d highly recommend that you
contact Disney Cruise Line. They will also be able to confirm the documentation requirements for your specific voyage.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
