We are traveling in Jan 2010 with a 5 yr and 2 yr. Any suggestions for safety? I am mainly concerned about them getting lost in the crowds. We'll use a stroller part of the time but they'll definitely be walking. Thanks!

    Hi Lisa!

Not that I have ever lost my children at Disney World, well there was that one time, wait make that two times!!!  Yes, I have lost a child twice at Disney World and let me tell you, I was feeling less than "magical."  I discovered a handy little item that has really helped to put my mind at ease - Who's Shoes ID Tags.  These velcro tags slip onto your child's shoes and you simply write in your name, as well as your cell phone number.

My kids spend about 80% of their time in the stroller - touring the parks takes a lot out of them!  It is important to let your kiddos know that if they are out of the stroller and find themselves lost, to STAY PUT!  A Cast Member will help them to find their "lost parents" and calm them while they wait.  On your end of things, try not to panic (Ha-Ha) and let the nearest cast member know about your situation.  Believe it or not, this happens all the time!  It is also a great idea for adults to agree on a meeting place, should they get separated.  Take a deep breath, relax and get ready to have the time of your life!!!

    Much pixie dust,
