Hi- we are traveling in Jan of 09 with our kiddos, 3 & 5 for our 10th wedding anniv. We are torn between getting adjoining rooms at the Pop or just one room at POFQ. Which resort would you reccomend for kids that age?

    Port Orleans French Quarter!

I love the Doubloon Lagoon pool and kids enjoy sliding down the tongue of the resident sea serpent, Scales. When our son was younger he absolutely adored this resort. It's festive and charming.

The resort is small and easy to navigate with little kids or tired parents for that matter. The boat ride down the Sassagoula River to Downtown Disney is pleasant for mom and dad while being an adventure for the kids.

Families will also enjoy the stroll along the river to Port Orleans Riverside. Sometimes it's nice just to walk over there after swimming and dine at a different food court. But you must try the beignets at Port Orleans French Quarter. The food court at POFQ is a nice size and offers a variety of menu options.

Since it is also your anniversary (Congratulations!!), I would also recommend POFQ. It's romantic! You'll see what I mean when walking down the paths by the courtyards and fountains.
