Hi Vicki,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. My husband and I were literally walking around the grocery store today strategizing which groceries we were going to bring on our upcoming Walt Disney World vacation! Between amazing Mickey-shaped snacking, my love of the iconic Dole Whip, and the one-of-a-kind meals to be had all over the Disney parks and resorts, we like to make sure we bring or order a few fruits, veggies, and other wholesome snack items to round out our decadent fun. While our diaper days are behind us, I love that you want to ship yourself all the baby essentials to make your travels that much easier!
All that preamble is to say that yes, Vicki, Guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels are welcome to order groceries directly to their hotel rooms. There are several Orlando grocery companies that deliver all the time to Walt Disney World – you should be able to find what you’re looking for using a quick online search. We have used and been happy with Garden Grocer for past trips, but there are lots of options – Amazon Prime even delivers to the resorts. Be sure to indicate on the online order form which resort you are staying at; if you need the resort address, you can find that out by looking at the right hand side of the
resort's webpage.
You'll indicate the delivery date and time window when you place the order, and your groceries will be delivered to your resort’s Bell Services team, who will hold the items (they will even refrigerate cold items) until you are ready to have them delivered to your room. Simply dial Bell Services from your room phone and request delivery; I like to tip $1-2 per grocery bag, and a little more for heavier items or outstanding service.
Vicki, enjoy every magical minute of your stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa!
