We are traveling with an infant. If one parent rides a ride and the other parent wants to ride. Does the other parent that is staying with infant have to wait in line again?

Happy New Year Sheila! I'm so excited to see you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort in a few short days! What a fantastic way to ring in 2019!!

I have great news for you!! Walt Disney World Resort offers a fabulous Rider Switch Service where one adult can wait with your little one while the other adult Guest in your party enjoys the attraction. When the first adult returns, the other adult boards the attraction without waiting in the regular queue again. It's wonderful!

As you approach an attraction, ask a Cast Member if Rider Switch is available. If so, your entire party will approach the Cast Member. A minimum of one adult not riding the initial time will be given a Rider Switch entitlement. The Guest with the Rider Switch entitlement will wait outside the attraction with your infant while the other Guest rides the attraction. After riding the attraction, the 1st Guest will meet up with the party and spend some quality time with your kiddo while the other adult enters the attraction without waiting in the regular line a second time. A couple of notes: a Cast Member will validate the Rider Switch entitlement and a maximum of 3 Guests are allowed per each Rider Switch pass.

The Rider Switch Service is not only a great benefit for adults, but is also a wonderful time for younger Guests to enjoy a nap, snack, photo opportunity or quality time with their traveling adults. Naps and snacks were most popular with my kiddos when they were younger!

I couldn't be more excited for you! Enjoy every magical moment of your vacation at Walt Disney World Resort! Please let me know if you need any other last minute tips as you plan your vacation!
